If I am correct, your PDs are current, right? Do you guys know if your case was pre-adjudicated and/or assigned to an IO? I keep reading from the forums that some apps with PDs as late as Dec 2004 and a couple of Jan 2005 got approved. Wondering why the earlier (eg. mine is July 04) not approved yet. Could we all join togther and write a letter to Napolitino(Thanks to SoP for the idea) and ask her to take some action on our cases?

It is WAC and was approved in Mar 2007. My earlier two H1 petitions were from EAC. I have two H1 transfers in my H1 history.
I guess the cases with transfer and extensions are getting delayed.

try all routes possible... call ombudsman, call senator, email NSC , go for an Infopass...

Hi,
I was scheduled to travel outside US this summer for about 3 months. Then dates move past my PD and I have to apply for 485 in june. I have discussed these with the lawyer and want to confirm what she is telling me:
1) I have to be in the country to apply for 485.
2) FP notice will likely arrive in 3-4 weeks. But we have 84 days to reschedule this if needed.
3) I was not planning on applying for EAD/AP at this time. However, she says that if I leave the country on H1, and 485 is approved while I am out of the country (HIGHLY unlikely but still possible), then I cannot come back into the country unless I have an AP. (This is the point that I mainly need clarification on!)
4) If I DO apply for EAD/AP then I cannot leave the country until they are approved.
5) Finally she cannot give me a timeline for how long EAD/AP would take. The service centers processing times show that they are currently processing Jan cases. Which means at least 4 months wait after applying for EAD/AP.
Does any one know if any of the first four points are wrong. If so, what is your knowledge about the point that is wrong. Also, does anyone have any idea on point 5 (i.e. how long it is taking for EAD and/or AP these days).
If you have any information, please respond ASAP, so that I can determine the best course of action before filing for 485.

Second: They will laugh at you (that's what is taking place. Instead of accepting the mistake and offering an apology, USCIS has only issued a statement about forwarding flowers to Army Medical Center)
Third: They fight with you (I guess that's what they are gonna do in the court)
Fouth: Finally you win.

I-485 inventory means number of 485 apps they have received or in their DB. ( simple )
I don't think USCIS will( should ) worry about the PERM applications/140-approved applications.IMHO that' be fortune-telling business for USCIS, that so many PERM/140 approvals will directly result into so many 485 applications.
I'm know USCIS trumped us before, but If I were to bet, I'd bet that these are straight-record count off their 485 applications.

With the June visa bulletin, my priority date became current. My Labor and 140 already approved. When can I apply for I485? After May 31 or before May 31.

Me and my wife had done finger printing on 09/10. On 09/15my wife got the clearnace from FBI and it is loaded into the system. I went to local immigration office and they did some searched and they told me that FBI loaded my finger printing detail using my social security number and not by the A number. Local IO can see the finger printing but when I called the Texas office they said they can't see the FP detail, and i tried again after some time got hold of another IO and she was able to search by my first and last name and saw in the system.
I opened an SR got a response that my FP is not received from FBI. So confusion is some IO officer who is trying other option to do search are able to see but not all the IO and that is delaying my approval process.
Any help or suggestion will be appreciated

Yes , I did see that, but at what point do they consider this as "inventory" -- waiting for visa having pre-adjudicated (gosh, I hope not!) or as we all are thinking -- applications that have reached the agency...
